Even if that is their assumption. They are selling an item that the buyer is not able to personally view. Pictures and a good description of the item would seem appropriate.

I completely agree. Even with titles provided, I will always pass if the cylinders are not shown outside their boxes, which happens frequently on eBay. Are they intact? Cracked? Grooves worn down by a bad stylus? Who knows?

Unless it's something I REALLY want, I don't even bother to contact the seller to show me what he/she should have provided in the first place.

One of my peeves is disc record sellers who don't mention the title of the flip side. Are you only selling one half of the record?

I have other peeves too, but that's all for now. :)

Once, this must have been the 70s, I was selling used LPs at a swap meet. I had a loose record called Organ Favorites, and I had an empty album cover called Elvis Presley, 50,000,000 fans can't be wrong. So I put the Organ Favorites record in the Elvis sleeve. It sold so fast, I didn't have a chance to inform the buyer about the discrepancy! Lesson, always see what's inside before buying. I hope he liked organ music.

Not all of these WERE Blue Amberols,as the Ebay seller stated. If someone else bought them and they tried to play the wax Amberols with a Diamond reproducer on,say,an Amberola 30,they would be toast!edisonplayer.
