Here's the rest of that image of Hylton...it's a cigarette card from the Radio Celebrities series. British celebs of course. This is the second series they issued . I think it dates from about 1935.

thanks for the rest of that card. The picture in that video was pinched from the internet and was cropped to take off the writing. Interesting to see what they had to say about him - I never relaised he entererd the medium of radio so early!
Shane - yes, absolutely one of the best from a bunch of great bands in the UK at that time. With so many to choose from its a tough competition
