If you could ship them safely, I'll go for them! How much for the shipping and disturbance? PM me the total.

Thanks to soundgen present, the Turandot records are now at home, ready to be unboxed and played. Tonight my HMV 194 queen will sing wonderfully!
Thanks, Mike. And all for the interesting information!

It would be interesting to understand if it was later actually pressed and sold, or if it was an alternate take, or if it just ended in the drawer of the executives.

The discography shown by soundgen has issue numbers. I've seen other Turandot discographies with Cetra records in two series, the C- series and the CB- series. Even they've been issued in cd, so they must exist. Other discography I've seen cites a 16 record set.

Today I've cleaned all them. They've come out clean and bright. Must be a good recording, for the light reflections on the grooves show that rainbowish character that indicates an extended frequency range and a very high quality shellac. They're Italian pressings, all laminated and pretty heavy. They arrived safe, very well tightly packed in heavy cardboard, a first two layer box around the solid album that contained them, then this pack placed into another square big box. Thanks, Mike!
The album is one of those RCA heavy binders, but it has been wet some time, and smells like poison! Do any of you know how one can remove that smell? Maybe leaving the album extended outside, with some sunlight, will make it?
