Sweet Georgia Brown- Barnum with bailey

Post by dzavracky »

I thought I would give this a shot and post my first record video. For future videos should I close the lid? Any feedback would be great.

Enjoy!

I prefer it when the lid is closed, but very few seem to do it. It seems to be okay to leave it open, however, if the microphone is close to the horn opening, where it doesn't pick the extraneous sounds of the open reproducer or hiss of the needle. Just my take on it

Nice job! Love the Cortez!

Beautiful machine indeed. I'm looking for one myself right now. One hint about videos for youtube is it always looks better when filmed in landscape rather than portrait mode. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the replies guys! Maybe I’ll make another one soon ;)

There’s been a Brunswick Cortez on Facebook for awhile now. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 677c0743cf
