3" 78 Records

Post by MikeB »

I bought a Victrola and a couple of tiny single-sided 78 RPM records were loose under the turntable. The diameter of these is only 3". I've never seen them before. Does anyone know about these records?

PS: I know of 6 Decca's by the Andrews Sisters and the 1 Russ Morgan.

I have the Russ Morgan. It’s very short, as would be expected considering it’s small size.

A friend of mine recently loaned me a 3" pre-dog Victor. It's an Eldridge Johnson label with no matrix, I believe it was an advertisement for Victor, to hand out at the Worlds Fair?
