Thank you very much to both WDC and Gramophoneshane -- looks like the mystery is cleared up. I have played the record now and Ed M Favor himself is making the spoken announcement -- his voice being easily recognizable of course. The recording is of fairly decent aural quality so I don't think its a pirated duplicate. I suppose the final confirmation would be another slightly later US Phono Co catalogue , hopefully a later edition may give catalogue numbers or perhaps another known US Phono Co record which has a surviving same style of printed record slip but I am happy to presume both gentlemen are correct given the evidence submitted.
