First port of call for HMVs would always be the database of Dr Alan Kelly https://kellydatabase.org/Search.aspx - a magnificent resource, which includes UK, European and US recordings issued by The Gramophone Company.

The monochrome trademark was introduced in wartime, and continued until the demise of the shellac disc. The glorious technicolour dog and trumpet of the 1920s and 1930s never reappeared.
