Gotta love it when they do that on nearly 100 YO original 78s. :roll: Incidentally, your version is from mid June 1928 and is a real stomper, as you know. the 1923 version was a piano solo and issued on Gennett.

In the USA, pre-1923 sound recordings are public domain, but 1923 and later are still subject to copyright protection.

Thank you for the information George! I just wished I had an Orthophonic machine too play this on.

The other problem is, SONY has all of RCA Victor’s Catalog! Even though this recording was before RCA took over the Victor name, and company.
