I did buy a huge nice fairly new Sharp Carousel microwave from her for $40 last Sunday. That I needed and a great deal! About $150 off a new one. Least I could do in supporting her. She remembered and that’s why I got the free box this morning.

Other than that… she doesn’t give stuff away. I’m really surprised too!

Here’s the haul now…

What a set of joyful evenings you'll pass listening to what's on the boxes.... Maybe great discoveries ahead!

Pre 1930 78s are hard to find around here and flea market sellers usually want $3-$4 apiece for them when they turn up.
I started collecting in the mid-80s in central Arkansas.
$10 bucks is what I would have paid for that massive haul back in the day.
Pre-WWII discs are getting rarer and rarer as time goes on. Consider yourself lucky, and play the heck out of 'em!

In the box at top left...

Looks like some "Hit Of The Week" discs to the right, yeah?
If so, then... nice score.

I think they aren't HOWs, but brown shellac records, notice their thickness... Maybe Pathé actuelle, vocalion... or Canadian Domino, Apex, Sunrise... etc that were also brown for some time. There could be nice records!

I've never seen a brown Pathé Actuelle. The related to Pathé, brown Perfect records are fairly common. The most common (to me) are the brown / red Aeolion-Vocalion.

There are the brown/black "splatter" Pathés, though...
