I forgot to mention another great record from 1927 of Jelly Roll and the RHP as the Levee Serenaders, Mr. Jelly Lord/Midnight Mama with vocals by Frances Hereford on Vocalion race series 1154. I was fortunate to acquire a nice copy from the Joe Bussard collection.
Highly recommended!
