Columbia Set A20: Hot Trumpets

Post by Lah Ca »

I was given this re-issue sampler album from Columbia the other day.

It is a very nice collection.

I had to clean the five records in this set here in order to make them playable.

What was vacuumed up from my cleaning machine was so sludgy that I had to flush the tank with water to clear out the sludge. It would not drain easily on its own. I did not use all the liquid in the glass for cleaning. Most of it was used in flushing the tank. I have let things precipitate for a day or so now.

These red label Columbia reissue sets are quite good quality. I have had many over the years.

Yes, I've bought some of them through eBay and from Nauck sitting the last 20 years. I find them interesting and very good.
