Gabriel Formiggini - Sag' nicht Du zu mir wenn meine Frau dabei ist

The title and lyrics do not give a proper sense in the English language where anyone calls the other 'you'. The German language differs between 'Du' and 'Sie' where the last salutation is more formal and normally used between foreign/distant/reserved persons. So, a possible translation could be "Don't call me by my first name when my wife is with me".

Hey this is a fun tune. I don't understand the lyrics but its a great tune nevertheless - very bouncy! Such a sign o' the times to have a song saying don't call me by my first name when my wife is with me! Now there IS formality for you
