Problem with second barrel

Post by Henrik_M »

Hi, the problem is that I some time ago over-winded my gramophone. I have bought new springs and is in the middle of changing them, but I have a small problem. I have taken out the two barrels from the motor, but I can not reach the second barrel because it is blocked by the first one. This makes it of course impossible for me to install both new springs. Does anyone know how I can open up the second barrel so I can install the second spring? See attached photos.

Pull the winding gear off the shaft. Remove the pin from the shaft. The barrels should separate.

Hi, found a picture on the other post, I just have one small question. Is it the small pin or the large pin that I am supposed to remove?

Remove the small pin first, then you can remove the shaft ("large pin") and spring barrel...
