Re: Metal and Wood Horns
When badly stored these horns can disintegrate, revealing the paper used. London telephone directory pages seem to have been a favourite material.

I have been reading up how to do "Papier Appliqué"(thanks to you and Lucius). It seems that the glues used were biodegradable as they were made from flour and starch etc. The use of modern glues such as Titebond has revolutionised such methods and is mold and damp resistant.epigramophone wrote:When badly stored these horns can disintegrate, revealing the paper used. So this is definetely an option since its relatively light weight and easy to make.
