Hi everyone!
My life has changed quite a bit and I've changed jobs, where I live, everything! Anyhoo, now that I'm in my new place I really want to get my Amberola V that I got from Jerry B. brought back to life. The big thing is that someone spray painted over the top of the original finish of the metal parts. I'm not very precise or gentle, and wanted to know if there is anyone in Oregon or southern Washington who is able and willing to restore a phonograph. I am willing to pay of course. I can send pictures if needed.
Thank you for your answers!

Honest Gerald has almost completed the home training course in phono repair and is eager to test his skills!

Is he a forum member? I would imagine the the course would do a great job on the mechanical side(spring replacement, reproducer rebuilds, etc.) but does it focus as much on paint, finish, and that sort of thing?PeterF wrote:Honest Gerald has almost completed the home training course in phono repair and is eager to test his skills!
