I enjoyed the videos, but with great respect, I can think of nothing more dangerous than greasing the spring before replacing it in the drum, making it slippery and hard to control. A couple of big dollops of grease in the bottom of the drum will be distributed by the tightening of the coils as the motor is wound. Just my opinion!

Sounds like some nice hair tonic!

"washing up liquid"? Hand soap? Dish soap?

Thanks!

I wouldn't either... That was a try at humor.

The question was however, what is "washing up liquid"? Is it hand soap? Is it dish soap? or ???
