Post by Teak »

I am in dire need of some hmv (like) grill cloth for my 130. Does anyone have tips in that regard? Most i found online do no match at all (Europe).

Suppliers of vintage radio parts may have speaker cloth suitable for use on gramophones.

Hello Teak,
I'm now going to replace my HMV 130 old grill cloth with a new grill cloth, like seems you did years ago.
Where did you bought your new grill? And how did you operated for - practically - replace your grill?

Thank you,
Michele.

I bought my cloth there, this was it, in fact (the brass variant).

I did not install it yet, because my teak 130 looked better than expected when it finally arrived. It does look good though: (click on the picture, the full quality is much better than the preview)
