The semi-automatic brake on my Victor XI works fine, but the handle is damaged. I would like to replace just the handle with one from a similar brake from an X, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way the disassembly the brake.
Can anyone give me a hint before I do something stupid?
Thanks
Dale H

Re: Disassembly of Victor semi-automatic brake
Do you mean the start - stop lever or the lever used to set the stop point? The start-stop is riveted in place, while the setting lever is held on by a spring clip. I believe those automatic brakes are the same for all Victor machines, so you could replace one with the other.
