Edison DD double spring motor

Post by Phono-Phan »

I searched the forum and found an old link to a diamond disk manual. download/file.php?id=145436
The link comes back "file does not exist anymore" Is there an updated link to the Edison DD motor? I am working on a double spring DD motor and could use the information from that manual.
Thanks, Ken

Is this the Edison Disc Motor Manual you've linked to in the archives?

Because the entire manual still exists below the link where the entire manual originally was copied from.
That website may not even exist any more, which is why David painstakingly copied and cleaned up the manual and added it to the boards.
I actually printed off a few copied of the manual years ago, so I have hard copies in my DD machines.
Everything is still there if you'd like to do the same.

Found it in the "Archive" section. Thanks. I am working on a double spring DD motor and can't get the barrels apart.

I just noticed someone has done the same but are trying to sell them for $14.95 plus $14.35 postage on eBay USA.
I didn't realise 11 sheets of paper cost so much to post.
Perhaps it's the staple used to hold them together that's responsible?
