WOW .... exactly what I needed and half the price of the piece I found ........ that is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so very much for finding that for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the springs ... I did pack them in grease .... going to give them a try this afternoon.

Any suggestions for oil on the shafts, gears and such?

Oil or grease on them?

I am guessing at least for the govenor .. sharts and such, I should use a relatively thin oil?

Thanks so very much again !!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn ... close but not quite.

I just compared the one on ebay with mine.

The one on ebay has the crank rod going through the support ... mine does not.

Sooooo close.

Thanks again though for pointing it out to me!

This; ask the seller if he will sell you just the part you need, but 30 bucks for the whole casting, is OK too.

It you look at the bottom, the winding shaft goes through that support.

On mine the shaft does not.

Here is a few pictures.

Mike,

You're looking at the wrong auction. The support in question is in this auction 235509354698, https://www.ebay.com/itm/235509354698?i ... SweAVmEYVu. That said, it's still a bit different than yours. The main difference being it has no tapped hole for the lateral adjustment screw, (which you could easily add). The other difference is it has a bushing with a smaller hole in it, which can be easily removed and replaced with yours.
