Has Anything Happened to APSCo?

Post by Lucius1958 »

I'm writing to see whether anyone else has recently had dealings with APSCo:

Back in the Spring, I had sent them the spring barrels and reproducer from my BF for service. I heard from them a bit later, saying that they would get them worked on "in due time".

I know that the Valentes have branched out into the gardening business, and that their phonograph work is now more seasonal; but when I e-mailed them last month (and again this month), I have had no reply at all.

I hope that nothing untoward has happened to them or their business: does anyone know? I'm still hoping to get that machine finished...

Great question and I would like to know the answer before I send an order for lubricating oils and such. Does anyone else sell the various phonograph oils that the Valente's used to sell? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Just received news from Patti Valente: APSCo is still in business, although they've had a few technical problems.

Ordering should be OK.
