Sold: Edison C-200 & Columbia Elite $250 each to Wayne

Post by DGPros »

Hey guys, I need to make some space, so I thought I would sell off a couple machines. Both run well. If you click on the quicktime file above the ID plate you can hear the C-200 playing. I just put a new motor on the C-200 as the old spring was broken. I will also include 20 records. The Columbia Elite has a rebuilt reproducer and at some point was refinished. (you can see by the decal)The volume slider also has no finish on it. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I will not be bringing them to the Wayne show this weekend if no one is interested.

BOTH ARE SOLD!!!!

The Columbia Elite is a very desirable and scarce machine. These were made for a short time 1909-1910. It used that big, honking motor that was used in the BC, BD and other large machines. I believe that it was Columbia's answer to the Victrola XII. The Elite sold for $100.00, and Columbia's first table top machine. If I didn't have the one I already have, I'd be all over this. The price is a screaming deal.

I'd be all over this Columbia too if it had its original finish - I just don't like refinished machines. (just me)

I forgot to mention the C-200 comes with 33 of the original filing cards. There are a few missing but I believe there are 33 total.

Price dropped to $200 on Edison C-200. Can deliver tomorrow's Wayne show.
