In any event, the Regina phonograph is definitely unusual, not many were made by the famous Regina Music Box people...
"The phonograph† is not of any commercial value."
Thomas Alva Edison - Comment to his assistant, Samuel Insull.

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."

Here are some photos of my Reginaphone phonograph number 15. Curt, you are right about their rarity. This one could possibly be the only one left of this particular model. As you can see it has its original tone arm and reproducer designed to play all types of lateral and vertical records. The few remaining machines that are left are usually missing the original tone arm and reproducer due to the fact they are made of pot metal and most of them are deteriorated so severely rendering them unusable. The machines are often found with some other brand of tone arm and reproducer on it to replace the deteriorated one. This reproducer has two positions with the letters
VC (Victor,Columbia) and EP (Edison,Pathé). This machine is for sale for anyone who is interested. Inquire.
