Good Morning All,
I have recently acquired an Edison Model D Gem (maroon) and am in search of the following items..
One baby morning glory horn (believe it is the 18 inch)
One suitable gear cover that attaches to the bedplate. ( Does anyone know if another type of gear cover could be modified to suit this model?
One bedplate screw that attached the lower mechanism to the the underside of the bedplate. Screws in from the top.
Have been looking pretty thoroughly and they do seem hard to come by.
Regards
Steve
Any assistance or advice on where to find such items would be greatly appreciated.

The gear cover from a Fireside, although a different color, is the same as a D or E Gem. Would a good quality reproduction horn work for you?

G'day Jerry,
I would prefer an original horn. I just took off my fireside model A gear cover and checked it against the gem. You are spot on!
I will most likely buy a fireside gear cover and do the paintwork. The odds of finding an original would be pretty slim I'd imagine
