SOLD: 1897 Caseless Columbia Eagle With Orig. Horn -- $350

Post by Fonotone »

Early "Caseless" Columbia Eagle with its serial number stamped into the pulley cover. Manufactured at the beginning of the Type B run (Eagle serial numbers start at 80,000). As Shawn notes in his new "I Never Saw It In The Catalog" video, just posted on youtube, these caseless machines were typically fitted to Hawthorne & Sheble cabinets. I've also seen them mounted on fancy filagree bases. They seldom turn up loose. This one needs a good bath and a reproducer. Runs okay but obviously would benefit from dismantling, lubing, general TLC. Horn is structurally in excellent condition but (again, obviously) the paint is shot. $350 plus $18 shipping anywhere in the continental US. International shipping at cost.
