Looking to complete a Victor IV. I have the horn but not the elbow. Would prefer an original rather than a repro. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Bill Daugherty.

Re: WANTED - Nickel Elbow for Victor IV mahogany horn
Hi Bill,
Well, one thing that will help you is that there are typically 3 sizes for the Victor horn elbow you are after.
The Victor I used the smallest of course a with a bracket hole of 1 ⅛”. By bracket hole I mean the smaller hole on your elbow, the portion that fits into the back support bracket.
The Victor II used it’s own elbow with a bracket hole of 1 ½”
The Victor III, IV, V and VI used one size elbow with a bracket hole of 1 ⅞”.
This of course will be the size you need.
Unsure if you need the collar flange style elbow or the slip in style. I assume the sizes are the same.
Also, I use the Roman numeral Victor model names but they all have corresponding models if using the letters and I believe but don’t quote me the Victor IV was previously the “MS” model.
So you have a good shot of finding one as this was the most common size.
They are getting more difficult to find.
With a quick search I found on on eBay for sale already. I included the sizes so that if you see just a horn for sale and it doesn’t say which model it goes to, you can ask for a measurement to be sure.
I included a photo of collar style elbows for comparison! Have a great day! Mike

Available for 120.00 plus 8.00 shipping, PayPal FF. Early pin style. Good nickel. Pretty much dent free. One dent next to the horn pin slot which also showed a separation. There is a slight warp on the bottom of the flange. Does not affect the function but needs to be noted. Have used for years as is with no problems. Not perfect but very presentable. If purchased and with item in hand wish to reverse the sale no problem, just will be out shipping both ways.

Nickel Elbow: No Longer Needed
I found an elbow among some horns I forgot I have. Thought I'd removed the nickel elbow from a nickel petal Victor horn that was recently returned to me. Problem solved! Thanks everyone!
