People on here who know me no I am a no nonsense, pay instantly buyer. I give up!
I don't know why you're running into communications issues, but for what it's worth I'm buying a machine from him, and he was very good about providing photos and even YouTube videos. His communications were not necessarily always instantaneous, but they were certainly prompt, too.
This “seller” sent me a picture from a famous Phonograph Book we all know and said this is for sale! He refuses to actually take a real picture of a real phonograph! What an ass!

What kind of petulant collector gets mad that a seller wants to find out if someone likes a certain type of machine by showing the textbook example? (I collect talk o phones and I like the Sousa. There is no nickname for this cute Phono)

I even asked people last week what to call it, and they said it has no name, just a long description.

I'm waiting for a public apology. Or you're just confirming that however kind and helpful people are on here, there will always be petty name callers and rude individuals driving enthusiasts away from interacting with the good eggs in this awesome hobby.

Just wanted to update you on Dave's responsiveness. I inquired about a specific machine and he responded multiple times to my questions about unique features I was looking for - multiple pictures and honest descriptions. If you're interested in some specific item send him an email - I believe you'll have the same experience I've had.

Kinda hard to buy stuff when you're not quite sure what's for sale. Telling people you have lots of machines for sale doesn't narrow it down much. No offense intended.

"Mmmmmm?"

Well, it's rude to apologize with your mouth full, but I accept.

And thanks to everyone who is patient and has commented after interacting with me.

I'll write a fuller list for those who think "I'm trying to sell numerous external horn phonographs" is not precise enough to inspire inquiries.

Thanks Dave,
I can’t believe the machine arrived so soon…. Super packing job. I swear it looks like it belongs in a museum. I never thought I would find one so nice.
Listen Dave, don’t worry about a few complainers. Some people have very high opinions of themselves. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. You have an awesome collection. As a matter of fact , don’t brag too much. There are a couple of other pieces I’m thinking about.

Thanks Jim, I tried a new packing technique to protect the corners the way galleries do when they ship framed paintings.

No worries about trolls in the thread. I'm just glad he finally admitted he was wrong. Honestly, who duplicates threads without deleting the Metadata? Duh.

I've almost got the next machine you wanted up and running. It has a special early motor counterplate (with holes for oil application) because the motor boards from that era were super thin.

I'll email you pics when it's together.
Regards,
Dave
