FOUND: Edison fireside ORIGINAL crane.

Post by OldRestorer »

I am in need of the top half of the fireside crane pole.
Odd request but I have the rest. If you have a whole one I may consider it.
Thanks
Kirk

I doubt anyone's going to sell you the top half of their crane.

Get a reproduction crane from Ron Sitko.

Also, you need to be more specific about what you need. The photo you show of the top half of the crane you want is for an early front mount cygnet with rod suspension. Your machine appears to be a B model, top mount which would need a different crane and spring suspension.

My phono is a model A and I am not a Guru of Phonographs. I only know vaguely I need the crane and that was the pic I found.
The horn has the spring still attached so I guess I need that one?

This is the machine I bought.

I did not know Ron made this one... I will check with him but I would like an original of whatever I need.
