This is definitely a project machine. But it comes with the original reproducer and the record index, instruction manual, record catalogue, and the original oil bottle. This is basically as found. It does have issues (like the missing grille and albums) but would be a great candidate for a restoration. When I first got it, I plugged it in and the motor ran fine and I played a record using another Orthophonic reproducer that I had. Obviously the motor may need cleaning or wire work and the whole cabinet needs help, but the reproducer that comes with it is stable pot metal and the back unscrews easily which will help during a rebuild. PLEASE NOTE: Matt Burke (mattrx on the forum) has an 8-35 that is one serial number difference from this one. They are twin machines and I believe he is selling his too.
Please see the link for pictures, or send a PM (photos are easier to send all at once in an email). Pickup in Memphis, TN or I can drive to a halfway point or reasonable meeting spot in a variety of cities.
I will be listing a few other good project machines like this and I need to re-home these ASAP because I am moving.
