Looking for a cylinder by Marie Dressler
Blue Amberol #2001 (thought this would be the easiest to find in good playing condition)
She also recorded on Edison Standard 2 min wax numbers 10318 10377 10416
And one 4 min Black Amberol #499. I also found another 4min #401
I want to do a Presentation on this wonderful lady at a CAPS meeting and would like to included the playing of one of her cylinders.
Will pay top dollar for these cylinders and shipping Please send a PM or post if you can help.

Best of luck, Kevan.
I've been wanting either of those two cylinders as well, for a while. If I see either, I'll make sure to forward any information to you first.
Best,
Fran

Nothing personal, however a pet peeve of mine is when records are referred to only by their numbers. For those of us who recognize only titles, what title are you looking for?

I believe BA 2001 is "Rastus Take Me Back", the only title of hers to be carried over from the wax Amberols. Her records are all rather scarce and desirable. The most commonly encountered title for me is "He's My Soft Shell Crab On Toast" of which I have two copies of and have actually seen several others.
