ROSALIA CHALIA (Soprano) 7" etched Zonophone 9136 Stella del Norte: Barcarola (Meyerbeer) rec. June 1900.
Amazing coloratura. Chalia was the first opera singer to make an extensive series of recordings. Her records are rare and almost never turn up in such clean condition. Lovely clean copy has a very few pressing depressions (one of which has a minor scuff) not affecting play. Plays beautifully with no steeling. Condition E
