This is an original Convertible lamp from approximately 1903. Produced by Faries and other manufacturers, they are called so because they pivot to hang on the wall, or sit on a table. Super cool piece to dress up your Phonograph room. They are not easily found today and are period correct for Phonographs!
The two pictures below show the exact lamp and bulb being offered. The first picture is of my phonograph room and for reference only for what you might do!
This lamp is even more special, having a hard-to-find, very early Thompson Houston socket with the correct Edison adapter. It is free from cracks or other defects and has not been messed with. Completely original, with the exception of new UL listed twisted pair cloth covered cord. It has the original plug.
Included also is a reproduction Edison filament type lamp.
