I am trying to find a corner protector for my friend's Modernolette as pictured below. The sides are 1 ¼" long and it is ¾" high. Similar corner protectors might have been used on other portables, record cases, or other wooden boxes as well, so I'm hopeful that someone has one in their parts drawer. Even if it's not 100% identical I would appreciate if you would let me know.
Thanks
Andreas

Don't know if these would work, but if they do, they could be aged...

Re: WANTED: Corner protector for portable
Thank you guys. The procraft ones seem to be very close in size and form, the etsy ones are a bit small. If I can't find an original this will definitely be an option.
Thanks again

Re: WANTED: Corner protector for portable
Andreas,
If you decide to order the Procraft corners, they can be aged with gun bluing to a nice patina... I use Birchwood Casey SuperBlue for a lot of parts. If you have rusty screws and metal parts that look shiny after rust removal, use this on them to age them back, the nice thing about this formula is that it also ages brass...
If there are original metal corners on the bottom of your machine's case, take one or however many you need to complete the top and use the new ones on the bottom... just an idea, if you haven't already thought of it. That way, the top corners are all original, which are the ones you see anyway.

Re: WANTED: Corner protector for portable
Thanks Curt and Burke.
The original corner protectors are made from nickel plated sheet metal, so I would have to plate the brass corners before aging. And yes, the new protector would go to the bottom rear corner.
Thanks again
