FOR SALE: Restored & Working Edison C4 Radio Phonograph $850
Here is a beautiful Edison Radio-Phonograph model C4. This 1929 model was the last of the phonograph line from the Edison phonograph company. I actually made this complete using an R5 to get every last part it needed. All the original J hooks are present to hold the chassis. Even the power supply connector cover is present. All knobs are intact with the wood covers. This is a very complete unit. The paint on the radio and amplifier chassis is bright and beautiful and shows no rust. The speaker has been re-coned and the speaker cloth is the Edison reproduction cloth. The finish on the cabinet is original. It is faded and flaking a little but is very presentable. The feet are 100% intact and there is no loose veneer. The stretcher on the legs is also complete. The pickup has been rebuilt and the radio and phonograph sound amazing. The auto stop does not work and I never bothered to figure it out. I use a block of wood to hold up the tone arm when not playing it. I have 15 pictures but will only post a few. Email with any questions. Thanks for looking.

how's this sound? Better than the Electrolas of the era?
