This is a “Near Mint” 1921 Golden Waxed Oak Victor Victrola-120.
Exterior finish is “Excellent” with nary a blemish.
Interior Gold Plating and Victrola #2 Reproducer are Excellent.
Exterior Gold Plating shows light wear consistent with use.
Has the Original Record Duster that came with it.
When you open the lid it's like opening a time capsule, you can smell the fresh wood!
This Amazing Machine contains all of its Original Albums with about half of them still in their Original Wrappers.
I have added an Original Victrola #2 Storage Box and “How to get the most out of your Victrola” paperwork.
This was very expensive when I purchased it at auction several years ago.
This item is no longer for sale.
Please P.M. or Email with any questions

It's very hard to show the Quarter Sawn Oak oak in pictures because the Waxed Golden Oak finish has a soft sheen.
I belive the original finish was created with just a single coat of shellac stain and then waxed.
It has aged to a gorgeous Golden Glow which really makes it stand out.
I have cleaned the cabinet with GoJo and then applied a coat of Renaissance Wax, so it's ready for the next 100 years.
I don't feel that pictures do it justice, but here are some more trying to show the Quartered Oak.

Rare in oak to begin with (so many fewer of these were made than the VV-XVIs), but near NOS...!
I have one in mahogany that is pretty nice, but...

It's absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe it survived in such good condition. You mention the smell even being new--that's pretty neat! Every Victrola or other phonograph I own and have owned seemed to smell either like dusty barn wood or the inside of a vintage piano.
