Today I offer an early Convertible lamp. Introduced at or before the turn of the century, these lamps were popular when they was only one source of electricity in a room. They could be hung on a wall, or carried and sat on a table. Today, they make a stunning addition to any phonograph room. The last picture shows a couple of them in my phonograph room - this picture is representative of what you can do. Only the lamp in the first two pictures is included in this listing.
This specific lamp is a great example with a long body socket and an early Thompson Houston insert for Edison bulbs. The lamp has been rewired using UL listed Sundial wire. It has an early period screw in plug with the adapter to allow plugging into the wall. As can be seen in the picture, it works great. It even comes with a reproduction, filament, and tipped bulb.
The price is $185. Shipping to you is additional.
Don't miss out on a great piece. I actually have several of them listed!!!
