SOLD: RARE Edison Fireside Model B Balance Foot

This original foot is for Edison Fireside Model B towards the end of the Fireside production and came from the Edison factory. Unlike the conventional foot for supporting the crane of horn. No polishing has been done to it and I will leave it to the new owner. This foot is mounted on the other side of the cabinet to balance the morning glory flower. Fireside Model B with morning glory horn is scare by itself and this foot almost always lost in the history. A very rare chance to get this variance in line of Edison product. The machine with this identical foot still in place can be seen from Tim and George's book on phonograph accessaries

That is a rare part. The only time I've seen that was in a reprinted Babson mail order catalog. It showed a Fireside with the blue Edison horn with flowers inside. That horn was actually of Edison Standard size so the smaller Fireside required the extra foot to avoid being tippy.

I have this machine and included here are 2 pictures with the extra foot in place. Without it, the machine wants to tip over!!
