WANTED: Cheney winding crank
I need a crank for my Cheney model no. 2 Sheraton phonograph. It is one of the smaller size Cheneys. I has a thick rod with a female end. The business end of the crank is about 8 ½" long.

Re: WANTED: Cheney winding crank
Still looking for a Cheney female crank. Anybody? Actually, the length is more like 7 ½" long. It goes on the Cheney Sheraton no. 2 phonograph. The crank looks similar to a Brunswick crank, only the business end is longer.

Re: WANTED: Cheney winding crank
you might get more help if you provided the shaft diameter and thread size..

I believe the shaft diameter and thread is the same as on a Brunswick crank. The shaft diameter is ½".

Think it's the same as a Hepplewhite? I have parts to a Cheney in my attic including the crank, not sure the style, might be a Hepplewhite. I will certainly check in the a.m.
