FOR SALE: Columbia 603 - $200
This Columbia sounds alright, the soundbox hasn't been rebuild but performs fine, same with the motor. The rear right leg has been repaired at some point in the past, but seems stable now. Unfortunatly this machine has suffered a poor refinishing job at some point in its life, the crank looks like it could be a replacement, and the auto stop gets stuck sometimes. You can find the listing on Ebay and Facebook Marketplace, or just contact me here. It is located in the Long Island area.

What a steal! I'd love to be able to buy it myself... But shipping to Spain would make this prohibited... (wife reaction apart...).
Hope it'll go to a good home.

Somebody grab this... With a VivaTonal reproducer and orthophonic clone speaker, this should sound great... The restoration is easy.

Also of note that the machine has the incorrect thumbscrew and incorrect screw fastening the tonearm to the reproducer. I lost the bag with the screws for this phonograph... Price reduced again to 100.

I'm surprised it's not gone. Even the "poor refinishing job" looks nice, and these hardly show up. $150 was a steal, $100 is dirt cheap.

If anyone from your area is going to the Midwest show in June and can let it ride along, I'll take it. It's very worthy of a correct restoration back to 100% original and that would be my plan.
If anyone can give it a ride, please PM me the details. the Jerry B Express can take it from there.
