Needs work to use as stove or would be great if a phonograph was placed inside. Top, whole front and back lags are cast iron. Sides and back are tin. Whole cabinet is woodgrained porcelain coated. under the filth on front it is dull but I think a compounding would get it back. Some damage but so cool its worth the effort to fix. 550 bo 570-856-1387

We're in or near the anthracite regions around here, and this wonderful stove is an example of an anthracite burner. Note the handle for the shaker grate above the ash door. Of course, you can also burn wood or soft coal in it as well. There have been other threads on this forum discussing similar stoves. I think it would be cool to convert one of these to an actual phonograph... You could use it to play your "HOT" jazz and dance records...

No, Heatrola is a different brand altogether. Don't think they made one that looks like a phonograph.
