This interesting early Pixie Grippa reproducer is in excellent original condition and is the only example of one of these I've ever found. It is extremely well made.
The horn and elbow appear to be aluminum and the reproducer body appears to be nickel plated solid brass as it is fairly hefty. Needle bar is excellent, balance springs are excellent, mica diaphragm appears to be excellent. I've not done anything to this since I've owned it. I have priced this with absolutely no clue of its value since I've never seen one for sale but I will presume it's pretty rare to find one loose in nice condition like this.
I presume that this reproducer could be easily adapted to fit most any earlier disc phonograph and would provide a sort of stereo effect if you will.
PM with interest, PayPal Friends payment, USPS shipping extra at cost.
Thanks,
Doug
