WANTED; ADD-A-TONE reproducer with attached aluminum horn.

Post by Phonotom »

Hi, I am looking to buy a ADD-A-TONE reproducer with the attached aluminum horn. I would like it to fit either a Columbia or a Victor. Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction. I have attached a picture of one like I am looking for. Tom

Well, Got the ladder close enough where I could stand on an upright machine or two and reach up and get the box---In the box, a Harmony add a tone w/horn and an extra horn I picked-up (same style) and then what looks like yours Add-A-TONE embossed w/horn. The Harmony is pot metal and the horns have a slotted groove in them where they mount and the add a tone is smooth. I guess I got the ADD-A-TONE in the early 1990's because there is a response from a letter I wrote asking Tom Hawthorn about these unique devices.
