FOR SALE: Brown Wax Cylinders - $300 - SOLD

Post by Hailey »

Twenty one brown wax cylinders. Great condition. No mold. I saw one tiny rim chip on one cylinder. I have not played these, and I will not attempt. I found these in a cylinder cabinet on pegs and not in the record cases. I have placed them in original Busy Bee cases. I am not a grader of records. These are as good as I have seen. I do not see any engravings or identification on any of them. What you see is what you will get. I prefer not to ship. You are welcome to pick up on your way through NW Missouri.
The first “SOLD” gets them. Thanks for looking!!
Price is firm at $300.

Consider them sold if you will ship them to me in New. Jersey.

I would prefer USPS Priority Mail insured for $300 or if not UPS Ground insured.

Rich...
There was one person who sent me a PM just like one minute before your message. I have just been going through the PM and checking times. If he falls through, I will get back to you.

Forget about it. I don’t like doing business like that. When you commit I consider it a deal.

I guess “FIRST TO SAY SOLD” doesn’t mean anything on the forum anymore. I guess there was a better offer.

THIS is why I changed my behaviors all those years ago regarding collectors!
Not that I owe you ANY explanation, but I will pacify you nonetheless.
I do not own a computer. Everything is handled on my phone. It’s not the best, but it gets the job done. If I sell anything, I try to detect responses coming in from all sources. Some forms are more efficient than others. I vow to honor those that respond first, then if that falls through, go on down the line. Within an hour of posting this listing, I received word that my brother was involved in a farming accident out of state. At that point, my priorities were not to hold the hand of a collector who thinks he needs every damn brown wax record on the planet. The accident ended up taking the life of my brother. Thus, I am now just checking back in here. And, once again, I am not surprised with the same type of greed and animosity that drove me away from collectors circles all those years ago. I don’t hold out for more money when I offer an item for sale. I don’t need the damn money in the first place. And Rich, if you recall, I sent you a couple items previously at give away prices. And you chose to ramble unnecessarily in a public forum towards me? Grow up. Did you ever stop to think that maybe there were circumstances beyond anyone’s control that prevented a response that evening from me? Of course you didn’t. Your greed overshadowed that. And please, do not waste your time with a response to me. It will neither be read, nor accepted.
