For Sale: Edison C-19 Parts

Post by Dischoard »

So the situation is that I picked up a machine, paid for it ahead of time, and when I got there was horrified at the condition. I mean, the cabinet was held together with a ratchet strap and some silicone from a caulking gun. The inside reeked of smoke and I quickly realized this would not be a machine that I was going to spend any time on. Not when they can be acquired for relatively little $. I paid too much but was sort of doing someone a favor so I'm just looking to try to break even here.

If you need a part for a C-19 let me know. I'll put them up on eBay by the end of the week but if you get to me first you'll save me the hassle. I figured I would list everything for 15% less than the top selling price on the bay and another 10% off that price if a member needs it (with actual shipping cost, not eBay shipping cost). If I can make some money back early on I'll just send stuff to folks who need it. Front grill is in beautiful shape but I think somebody thought "hell, there's a diamond in that-there doo-hickey?!" and removed the stylus from the reproducer. I've never seen that before. Worn? Yes. Completely gone? No. I'll take a few pictures and post them up later but in the meantime, let me know if you are interested in any parts. Heck, even the door isn't bad, missing a couple tiny chips of veneer... but that cabinet... dang. Maybe I'll cut up the sides and make some shelving out of it.

I would be interested in a key, if it came with one.

Interesting how fragile those were. I believe there is one good corner on this one, maybe two. I'll check when I get back. I'm hoping it's two because I can see myself destroying the first one trying to get at it but having better luck the second time ;) Just kidding, I'd be careful.

They are held in place by a single nail so easy to remove

I've got the grill on eBay for $120 but I'll sell it to a forum member for $90 plus shipping. I could also open this to a trade.

I'd be interested in both the lid-if you have it- and the door intact with all hardware and hinges. It couldn't be in worse condition than mine. I don't need the lock or its screws on the lid.

Many Thanks In Advance !!

Barrels and mounting bracket are spoken for, the door and all its hardware are on their way out. Still have all kinds of parts going for very little. Let me know if you're interested in anything.
