I purchased the Mahogany Amberola B-60 at Stanton's this past week. Was someone inquiring about it?

Thanks
Troy

I will not be picking it up until next week. It is extremely clean. The only thing missing is the cloth grill.

What’s an Amberola B-60? There’s a B-60 Edison Disc Phonograph, but I’m not familiar with an Amberola B-60.

It's cabinet is the London No. 1 Disc Phonograph table model and it has the Diamond Model D reproducer on it. Don't think there were many made! Came out in about 1926.

I have never seen one in person before!

I don't understand the "B" designation either. The last two Edison domestic cylinder phonographs were the Amberola 60 and 80.
According to Frow, they were produced in an attempt to use up some of the cabinets of the disc phonographs which were not selling.

The B designation was my mistake. It's just the Amberola 60.

Sorry for the confusion.

I did take pictures of the Amberola 60 and would be glad to post them. But I can't figure out how to attach/upload the pictures on the forum page.

Troy,

When you're in the reply window, see at the bottom the attachments tab and click on it.

Then you can insert your images into your post.

Hope this helps,
Fran
