FOR SALE:General Electric H-71 (AKA Re-57)- $225

This machine is great electrically and cosmetically. It's been recapped, new power cord, etc. Radio fires up and sounds nice, but the pickup will need a rebuild. In addition the autostop seems to have been rebuilt backwards, as when the tonearm is over the turntable it stops. This does come with some original literature, the original microphone and the hard to find recording weight. If you need any more details or have any questions, shoot me a DM!

That is a great deal on a beautiful unit. If I didn't live so far away I would hop in the car and come and get it! ( 2000 mile round trip for me!)

I think thats the problem. Seems like not many folks are in Virginia (I had planned to get it driven up to minnesota when I bought it, but now I just need it sold)

If anyone needs parts for their RE-57 or H-71 I'd be happy to make a deal- just DM me with whatever you might need. I'm not sure about the amplifier, though, it might be too heavy for USPS.
