For sale: Columbia Nonpareil—$300

Post by dzavracky »

Up for sale is this Columbia Nonpareil I just finished working on. I restored the finish, cleaned/regreased the motor, and rebuilt the reproducer. It’s surprisingly loud and clear!

It was the subject of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44622&hilit=Nonpareil

Feel free to ask any questions. I would prefer local pick (or somewhere within a reasonable driving distance). I am in Knoxville Tennessee

Asking $300

hi very interested!

I only really want the complete tone arm assembly and turntable for a retrofit project.

I am in Australia so shipping a killer. I've been told these tone arms fit the Grafonola Delux with some minor mods.

Happy to pay a good price for just the arm complete and turntable. can you also confirm arm length?

Can chat via other means if easier? paulallanlowe@gmail.com

REALLY??? After you were just offered original parts for your machine? Now you want to bastardize a newly restored machine? :?

Please, I posted a few posts trying to fix my unit.
If I paid $300 and then was horrible then I might deserve comments. I was being honest.
Hopefully the parts offered will suit.
No disrespect ever intended. I love these machines but really want mine to be working.

Hi Paul,

I apologize for not being more prompt in marking it sold. I sold it locally last week.

I don’t think this tonearm would work with your machine anyways…. It’s longer than the usual Columbia tone arm.

Good luck finding parts for your machine!

What's wrong with getting the parts that django offered you?
