WTB: Tone-arm bracket for Victrola VV 8-8 (or workable substitute)

Post by eighteenbelow »

Hello. I'm looking for a tone arm bracket for a Victrola VV 8-8. These are pot metal, so I need one that has aged well and is solid. Also, if anyone knows whether other models had an identical back bracket, or one that is close enough to be workable, I would appreciate it if you would let me know. Thank you!

While it certainly appears that your bracket is indeed about to break, it looks like it is currently intact, just missing the pivot pin. You may want to consider getting a pin as a temporary fix. PM me if that's of interest.
