Today, I am offering a beautiful, all original Kalamazoo Duplex with the iconic double horns. The photos will speak to the quality of this machine, but here's some important observations:
- 100% All original parts including the extremely hard to find original reproducer and matching rubber elbows
The rubber elbows are still supple to the touch and are not dried up or cracked
Original wood finish and original decals on all sides
The original decals show some minor loss, but retain most if not all of the detail scrolling
Excellent original nickel finish on all of the cabinet components and the turntable
New turntable felt
Original and correct crank
Original and correct support arm and horn yoke assembly (including original spreader bar and original knurled nuts).
Original horns with the original silk covering.
Horn bells are clean with virtually no dents. Nice patina.
Neither horn have any indication that H&S decals were placed on them. There is no witness marks so it's reasonable to assume that they were not applied to these horns.
Motor runs great. Speed control works as expected. Did I mention that it has stereo too?
The seldom used spring that the company used to avoid patent infringement has been removed. Machine plays great without the contraption.
I have taken many photos. PM me if you want to see more photos.
Reasonable asking price of $3,400 plus the cost of packaging and shipping via Fed Ex. One box for machine/components and a second box for the two horns nested together. I'm an excellent packer, just ask around.
Personal check or Paypal Friends and Family only.
Please contact me via PM as to the machine's availability because, in addition to the Forum, it is for sale elsewhere.
