SOLD! : VTLA Victrola - Trade?

Post by Jerry B. »

I have a very nice second style VTLA for trade or sale. Any VTLA is an historic machine and this one is no different. All the mechanical parts are borrowed from Victor's premier machine, the Victor VI. The three spring motor is even attached to a Victor VI top board. It has all the 10" record boxes but is missing the boxes for 12" records. It has the early "Victor Victrola" decal on the inside of the lid. The serial number is 9,xxx.

I am happy to deliver this to the next APS Expo near Chicago or the Expo in Buena Park at no cost. I am open to any type of offer.

Thanks, Jerry B.

And I am across the country in Connecticut. What a machine!
Love the design, the obvious horn-phonograph reference, the weird knob on the back bracket. That one is turned out nicely.

I’m glad someone got it! I was lucky to find one around here 3 or 4 years ago with most of the original boxes for $150. The finish required some work, but it looks good now and I’m very happy to have it.
